ACCUTITE / FACETITE
NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT / BROWLIFT
AccuTite and FaceTite are two of the most exciting new Radiofrequency Assisted Liposuction (RFAL) procedures available to reverse the signs of aging. These two procedures work together to provide a non-surgical facelift.
The process of these minimally-invasive procedures works by tightening the skin and removing excess fat, providing the same lifting and rejuvenating effect as a surgical facelift without the extended downtime.
This treatment is an excellent option for tightening loose jowls, sagging neck skin, lifting and tightening the mid face, and lifting and tightening the brow.
ACCUTITE / FACETITE PROCEDURE BASICS
What does AccuTite and FaceTite treat?
AccuTite and FaceTite treat sagging skin, wrinkles, folds, and skin irregularities in the areas around the eyes, brow, jaw, jowels, neck, and the lines from your nose to your mouth (nasolabial folds). This procedure is great for removing bags under your eyes, lifting a sagging brow, removing double chins, tightening the skin around the neck and generally smoothing the deep folds all around the face.
How long does the procedure take?
AccuTite and FaceTite are minimally invasive procedures performed in our beautiful Pond Hill office in north San Antonio. The full process of these procedures takes approximately 1-2 hours from start to finish, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery in our office before being driven home by your designated responsible party.
How long is the recovery process?
Because AccuTite and FaceTite are incision-free procedures, there is less recovery time than that of a Blepharoplasty or traditional facelift.
It is normal to expect 24-48 hours of extra swelling around the face and neck (depending on the areas being treated) as well as a slightly reddened or pink complexion.
The effects of AccuTite and FaceTite continue to evolve over a 6 month period, during which time you can expect to see the treated areas tighten and smooth out. You’ll be thrilled with the final results.
How long can I expect swelling, bruising or discomfort after the procedure?
Bruising and swelling vary from patient to patient, but largely resolve by two weeks. Makeup can be used to cover any unresolved bruising 72 hours after the procedure.
Do not use ice to lessen swelling after this procedure. The inflammatory process is key to the Radiofrequency Assisted Liposuction process working.
Common post-op sensations that should resolve within 1-2 weeks following the procedure:
-
Tight skin
-
Numbness
-
Tenderness around treated areas
When Can I Begin Wearing Makeup?
Makeup that is applied with new or clean brushes and applicators can be used 72 hours following your AccuTite or FaceTite procedure.
When Can I Return to Work?
Plan to allow yourself 48-72 hours to heal following AccuTite and FaceTite. Though there are no major activity restrictions with this procedure, the human body heals most quickly when allowed to rest and recover.
We ask all patients to stop any gym-going activities for 5 days after your procedure.
