While other injections are used to temporarily fill wrinkles and folds in the face, Sculptra® Aesthetic is used to replace lost collagen. Requiring 3-4 sessions of injections, Sculptra® works by stimulating the existing collagen to rebuild over a period of time. This treatment requires a consultation by a doctor. Not all patients are ideal candidates for this treatment.
